America’s Credit Unions

America’s Credit Unions (ACU) was born out of a merger between two organizations, CUNA and NAFCU. They came to Elevated Third looking for a website that would showcase their new organization and centralize resources for their members.

We partnered with their internal UX team to create a streamlined design system that was optimized for the Drupal platform.

We also wanted to build the site with flexibility in mind. We utilized Drupal’s Layout Builder combined with E3’s proprietary Kinetic theme to translate those design components into adaptable content blocks. This offered enough flexibility for content admins while ensuring adherence to brand standards.

This build also required several 3rd party integrations:

• We integrated Drupal with ACU’s Association Management Software (AMS) system, Nimble. Using Single Sign-On (SSO) powered by Okta, the platform can recognize member accounts, simplify login processes, and customize content based on individual preferences.

• We also integrated with Acquia’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to help ACU store and manage media files more efficiently.
